Equipment Inventory
ProTrack all your gear, issue equipment to players, and monitor returns.
What It Does
Inventory lets you log all the equipment your program owns, organize it by category, and track exactly what has been issued to which player — so you always know what's available and what needs to come back.
Adding Equipment
- 1Navigate to Inventory from the menu
- 2Click "Add Item"
- 3Enter the item name, choose a category, and set the total quantity you own
- 4Optionally add a description or notes (size, condition, storage location, etc.)
- 5Click Save — the item appears in your inventory list
Managing Categories
Categories keep your gear organized. You can create custom categories to match how your program is set up — for example: Basketballs, Pinnies,Cones & Agility, Weights, or anything else.
- 1On the Inventory page, click "Manage Categories"
- 2Click "Add Category" and enter a name
- 3To rename a category, click the edit icon — all items assigned to it update automatically
- 4To delete a category, remove or reassign its items first
Issuing Gear to Players
When you hand equipment to a player, record the assignment so you always know who has what.
- 1Click on any item to open its detail sheet
- 2Go to the Assignments tab
- 3Click "Issue to Player", select the player from your roster, and enter the quantity
- 4The item's available count updates immediately
Note: Players must be added to your roster before you can issue gear to them. Go to Practices → Roster to add players first.
Tracking Returns
When a player returns gear, mark it returned to restore the available count.
- 1Open the item's detail sheet and go to the Assignments tab
- 2Find the open assignment and click "Mark Returned"
- 3The available quantity increases and the assignment moves to history

Tips for Using Inventory
Start with What You Have
Add all your gear at the start of the season with accurate counts. It takes 5 minutes and saves hours of confusion later.
Use Notes for Details
Add notes like "Storage closet shelf 2" or "29.5 inch" to the item description so anyone can find or identify gear.
Issue at the Start of Season
Issue pinnies and practice gear at the first practice so you have a full record from day one of who has what.
Check Before You Order
Before buying new equipment, check your inventory list first — you may already have what you need sitting in storage.
